Seonaid Dickinson (Response to Intervention Coach)

Seonaid (pronounced Shona) was born and brought up in a small town in the UK.  After teaching for almost ten years in an inner city London school, Seonaid moved to Chicago with her husband and oldest child, Molly.  They subsequently had three more children; Louis, Eva and Zach before moving to Berkeley in 2011.  When Seonaid’s children started school at Jefferson she was immediately inspired to get back into the classroom.  She started subbing in BUSD and then taught third grade at Jefferson for two years before becoming the RTI Coach.  She feels very fortunate to be part of the Jefferson community as both a parent and teacher, and to love coming to work every day.

Outside of school, Seonaid loves the chaos of family life, camping trips, exploring California and travelling.  In rare moments of peace and quiet, she likes to read and enjoys photography.
