Angela Reed was born and raised in Newark, CA. She comes from a large family of 6 sisters and 2 brothers. 9 altogether!
Ms. Reed’s love of children began when she worked at an after school program while earning her B.S. in Business Administration. After graduating in 2005, Ms. Reed decided to go back to school to get her teaching credential. This was the best decision she could have made.
She is now in her 11th year of education. She has worked 4 years as a first grade teacher, 6 years as a 3rd grade teacher and 1 year as a vice principal. She has taught in the Hayward, Alameda and Berkeley Unified school districts. She later went on to earn her Masters in Education and Administrative Credential from Cal State East Bay in 2012.
When she is not teaching, Ms. Reed LOVES to cook, dance, listen to music (90s R&B is her favorite), watch movies and eat at new restaurants. She is a die hard Warriors and Raiders fan. She has a Yorkie named Kingston and lives in San Leandro, CA.
