JAZ Program (Jefferson After School Zone)

Welcome Jefferson Families! Thank you for your interest in the JAZ Program. Below is a little information about who we are and how to join!

Our Mission Statement: 

Bay Area Community Resources believes in providing a nurturing and enjoyable environment where students can improve their academic skills. They can explore and develop skills, interests, self expression, and personal growth.

Who: Twelve awesome staff provided through Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) a non-profit organization serving up to 250 Jefferson students (20:1 ratio) grades K-5 after school in our fee based program.

When: Everyday of the school year from the dismissal bell until 6pm.

Where: The Jefferson Elementary cafeteria and other classrooms. Teachers escort grades K & 1 to the JAZ program daily!

How to register: Visit the Main Office or JAZ office for a registration packet, complete and return. After completing the registration packet the Coordinator will contact you for further information and instructions. Registration is open year round yet is highly encouraged before the beginning of the school year to ensure staffing is complete before school starts. Much Thanks.
