2. principal’s report
This was an open Q&A from those present, Maggie addressed the PI status of
the school and other questions regarding support services for all students
at Jefferson (ALP and ULYSSES)
3. Berkeley Public Fund Presentation
4. Walk-a-thon
5. Volunteer positions open (there was a hand out for this with detailed
descriptions of volunteer jobs-includes both garden and green team.)
6. Budget
3 motions were made and passed: 1. to carry over funds from last year’s
budget (monies that were yet unspent) from the Lowe’s grant and City of
Livermore grant) 2. To continue to hold monies for the Black Families
Group under the auspices of PTA for now as we did last year. 3. general
approval of budget for this year

7. CMC Math festival, this will be a day event, possible date set is Oct.
25th. Monies coming out of assemblies portion of budget for now, cost is
$1,500 this is an easy to put on festival full of hands on math activities
and games that support the new common core math standards. There is little
to no volunteer commitment required.
